MARCH

APRIL

ENTER THE HAZE SNEIPA

April marked the release of our sessionable twist on a New England IPA inspired by our family in New England. The release of this beer was very timely with the welcome of some Manchester sunshine. This beer is soft, sweet and fruity – best enjoyed whilst soaking up some rays. Still available to buy here. (unfortunately, this product has now been discontinued.)

SOUNDS FROM THE OTHER CITY

After a 2 year delay due to Covid, SFTOC was finally able to go ahead! Sounds From The Other City is a melting pot of of discovery across music, art and performance. Featuring 140+ artists from over 30 promoters for one big day out in Salford.

We were so delighted to be a part of this as a venue for a number of artists at our Middlewood Locks Beerhouse and we also had our beer in the SFTOC venues across Salford.

MEDIA CITY OUTDOOR SEATING

Al fresco pints! Our Media City Beerhouse outdoor area had a makeover and we extended with a stunning NEW tent.

Popping down for some pints before and after a match at Old Trafford? You can now enjoy your favourite pints in the fresh air come rain or shine.

MAY

MIDNIGHT DRIVE

In May we introduced our second beer in our Session Series. Midnight Drive is everything you love from a West Coast IPA, but highly sessionable.

Vienna and Crystal in the grist provide a pleasant malt character and a bright orange/amber hue, and a classic mix of Chinook, Columbus, Centennial and Cascade hops give a citrus/floral top note with pine and resinous undertones.

LIVERPOOL BEERHOUSE

It had been long awaited with delays from Covid and construction but we were thrilled to present to you all our BRAND NEW Beerhouse in Wolstenholme Square, Liverpool. It took a whole lot of blood, sweat & tears but we managed to open our doors on May 28th for a soft launch week.

After a few finishing touches were added, we are so happy with how it turned out and we love seeing you all down there finally enjoying your favourite pints and delicious grub.

In June, we were delighted to announce our partnership with Box On The Docks down at Media City. We would be joining a fantastic line-up of food & drink vendors, including our sister company SIS4ERS DISTILLERY and a range of other amazing local businesses, over the summer months.

We helped provide a fun space filled with incredible local food & drink businesses, entertainment and a place to relax and unwind!

JULY

GUAVA CRUSH

Aside from our Watermelon Wheat Beer, this was arguably our most summery beer yet. Launched just in time for the scorchingly high temperatures. This pink guava pale was the perfect beverage for sipping in the sunshine; a thick, hazy, hoppy pale ale with big additions of pink guava. A perfect summer crush.

OCTOBER

SEVEN BRO7HERS X WEAVER STREET BREWERY | HOW IT STARTED

This beer is a celebration of friends, old and new. Our old pal Eddie came back and he’s brought with him the Weaver Street team to create this smooth, soft Hazy Pale packed with Talus cryo and Bru-1 hops. Sweet, fruity & bursting with citrus.

Eddie joined Seven Bro7hers way back in the day, going from pouring beers in our flagship beer house and running tours to being a fully fledged brewer. When he contacted us about getting the band back together we couldn’t say no, so we brewed this beer in collaboration with Weaver Street as a celebration of How It Started.

Try it for yourself here. (unfortunately, this beer is now discontinued.)

HALLOWEEN BREWBACK

Our highly popular Brewback Friday took a spooky twist, becoming Boo-Back Friday. Brewback is an event we host at the last Friday of every month where we open up the doors to our Brewery for the local community to come and enjoy our freshly brewed craft beer straight from the source, whilst dancing to some brilliant live music and indulge in some tasty street food.

October saw one of our busiest Brewback Friday's yet and we had such a fantastic time seeing you all dressed up in Halloween costumes and taking part in some creepy games as well as boogying to live tunes from Ellwood!

NOVEMBER

CHOCOLATE HONEYCOMB STOUT

After a series of teasers, it was clear you were all very excited about the comeback of one of our most popular beers ever; our Chocolate Honeycomb Stout! Back and better than ever before.

We’ve taken our most popular beer, bumped up the ABV and chucked a bunch of dark malts into the mix. Truly a crunchy in a can.

You can buy Chocolate Honeycomb Stout on our webshop now.

DECEMBER

BOX ON THE DOCKS WINTER PARTNERSHIP

We were delighted to have secured our partnership further with Box On The Docks down at Media City for the winter season. This time under the cover of a new installation; Art Hall; designed by Mikesian Studio.

A new, covered venue where good food meets great art: you can head here for a one-off mix of street food, local beer, hot drinks, new art, live music and festive events.

SEVEN BRO7HERS X CITY OF TREES

We were delighted to announce our partnership with City of Trees this month. Our team had a fantastic time down at Pear Mill, with City of Trees and a handful of volunteers, to plant trees to improve the local habitat and help combat climate change.

We are so proud to have collectively planted a whopping 231 trees throughout the day, as well as laying new mulch mats and removing vegetation around existing trees. We cannot wait to team up with City of Trees again in the new year and participate in more tree planting days!

GYLE 1000

Last but not least, the perfect ending to 2022; we saw a huge milestone at our brewery, as we hit GYLE 1000! For those that don't know, GYLEs are the brewing industry’s version of a batch code for our finished beer. It helps us keep track of stock, but also traceability of ingredients so we can make sure our beer is top-notch and safe to enjoy.

A message from our Head Brewer, Jack:

"Fittingly, our 1,000th brew is Easy IPA. Evolved from the first ever Seven Bro7hers beer brewed (the creatively named ‘IPA’), which remains our flagship and at the heart of our core offering. From humble beginnings brewing GYLE 1 at our old site, brewing 1800L once or twice a week, to brewing 24,000L a week 8 years later. I can’t wait to see what GYLE 2000 will bring us!"

Once again, we thank you for all your support over the past year and more. We can't express our excitement to be going into another year filled with beer, events and new friendships.

From our family to yours, we wish you a very Happy New Year and all the best in 2023.

CHEERS!
