We have released a very special ale in support of The Tim Bacon Foundation: a very special charity raising money for research projects and pastoral care in cancer charities.
We’ll be donating to the charity for every can we sell to trade, LWC Wholesalers will be distributing at cost, and a portion of your sales will also be donated to this great cause.
The Tim Bacon Foundation was established in 2017 to recognise Tim Bacon’s achievements and to raise money for cancer charities. Tim was a renowned restaurateur in Manchester and also an actor in Australia (remember the soap Sons and Daughters? He was in it back in the 1980s). He set up many popular and successful restaurants in and around Manchester, culminating in The Restaurant Group.
Sadly, Tim died of cancer in 2016 – but through this foundation, his legacy and legendary spirit of generosity live on. Friends and colleagues from within and around the hospitality industry work very hard to keep his memory alive and Seven Brothers are proud to be able to be part of this special community.
Tim loved beer, and we think he’d love this one: a double dry hopped ale with a fresh citrus and mango aroma. We’ll be selling it ourselves and donating money from each can sold to the charity. If you’d like to sell it too, please send us your email.
See the form above.
Let’s get everyone drinking this lovely beer and let’s raise lots of money in the name of this lovely man.
