Who we are
Our dad was a huge inspiration to us and played a massive part in our passion for brewing. He brewed ginger beer in our basement and as time went on he taught some of his sons (us!) how to brew. We carried this on through the coming years, making our own beers for family parties. After a work trip to Oslo, and becoming inspired by their craft beer scene, we decided to get together and create something special – our own brewery! We began to create our own brews and immediately educate ourselves in all things craft beer. We took the basic home-brew knowledge that had been passed on to us by Dad and stepped things up to try and create the very best in craft beer.
So, in 2014, after a couple of years of successes, failures and learning from other great beer makers, we finally created our very own family of beers that reflect our passion, honesty and hard work. Fast forward to now and we have an upgraded brewery, our beers nationwide in supermarkets and the on-trade, a large team of staff and numerous beerhouses (with more to come).
About the role
We currently have established territories in Manchester, Yorkshire, and Merseyside, and we are looking for a driven, hardworking individual with a passion for craft beer to continue to drive sales in Leeds/Yorkshire area for us. The focus will be on Leeds city centre (we are opening a Beerhouse there very soon) whilst also looking for opportunities within greater Yorkshire area. This is an exciting opportunity to make this region your own. Our business was built by seven entrepreneurs, and we are looking for the same high energy entrepreneurial spirit to make Leeds a key SEVEN BRO7HERS city! As a member of the team you will be given clear direction and support on delivering against set objectives and KPI’s within a fun and fast paced environment, while being able to sell an excellent range of craft beers and regular specials.
Key Responsibilities;
• Growing beer volume and distribution across a Yorkshire
• Networking with key influencers and decision makers across the territory
• To manage and protect existing stockists and identify opportunities for new distribution and volume growth
​• To advise customers on the ideal product range for their outlet, looking for gaps in their current range and how we can add value.
• Effective journey planning to manage the working day to ensuring optimum coverage is achieved at key trading times
• To provide staff training to customers
• Networking with current wholesale account managers and bring on new local wholesalers
• To keep pace with a constantly changing marketplace and anticipate market trends, competitive threats, and commercial opportunities within the area
About You
• Driven with a passion for sales and delivering against targets
• Have excellent influencing, negotiation, and time management skills
• Able to work alone with support from your team
• Previous experience working within the drinks industry in Leeds
• Have good presentation and communication skills
• Be able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness
• Have a full driving license
We are looking for someone who ideally knows the Leeds and Yorkshire bar scene well, has worked in sales before and is not afraid to push themselves out of their comfort zone. A lot of this role will be maintaining existing business, but also winning new business and then managing these accounts, the first 6 months will be mostly cold calling and we are looking for someone who can create a great first impression on behalf of SEVEN BRO7HERS. We are a small and close-knit sales team, who support each other and thrive on each other’s success. Finding someone who is the right fit for our team and business is essential.
