Salary Band: £21,000 – £23,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: Brewery, Salford, M50 1DS

If so, Seven Brothers Brewing Co are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our Family.

 

We are a Salford based Brewery with 5 Beerhouses around Greater Manchester and another in Liverpool. We have seen exceptional growth over the past 9 years and are continuing forward. We believe in putting people first and making sure that our staff are happy in their work.

 

Your primary responsibility will be looking after the Purchase Ledger for the current and upcoming Beerhouses/Brewery but we would also like you to keep an eye on the Balance Sheets accounts.

 

And given the growth plans of the company there will also be plenty of opportunity to get involved in all thing’s finance.

  

Key responsibilities

  • Receiving, checking and processing purchase invoices ensuring sign off in line with set schedules and processes.
  • Supplier management including statement reconciliation
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Providing administrative support to the team
  • Provide cover for other members of the team as and when required
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with the daily running of the businesses

 

Person Specification

  • Able to communicate with staff at all levels
  • Able to organise own workload and reprioritise at short notice to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A keen eye for detail and precision
  • Proactive approach
  • Process driven
  • Trustworthy and self-motivated

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • AAT part or fully qualified / QBE with experience in a similar finance role
  • Experience working on Purchase Ledger
  • Great analytical / problem solving skills
  • Accurate, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed
  • Ability to establish and maintain good supplier relationships
  • IT literate with experience of Xero and Excel
  • Strong teamwork skills essential
