Salford Lads Club Helles Lager

We've collaborated with the legendary Salford Lads Club for this one. Celebrating 120 years of Salford Lads and Girls Club. This beer is very special and dear to our hearts with both our father, Eric, and brother number 6, Kit, being members of the club. Available in very limited quantities.

The club has its own brewing heritage too! Founded in 1903 by brothers James and William Grimble Groves of Groves and Whitnall Brewery on Regent Road in Salford.

The can features artwork by Jess Eckersley, a student at Pendleton College and granddaughter of Archie Swift. Archie was a member of Salford Lads Club for 76 years and sadly passed away in April 2023. Jess continues his marvellous legacy as a dedicated volunteer at the club.

£1.50 of sales from each can will go straight to the club, meaning they can continue their great work, building on their legacy while celebrating members and volunteers!
